Mission Statement
A national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Empowerment Society of the United States of America (ESUSA), is dedicated to assisting women of the United States Armed Forces. Women in the military face a variety of issues and concerns associated with serving in the military, as well as their transition back to civilian life. We provide professional life coaching programs to both individuals and groups. We also record our veterans' oral histories for the Library of Congress and The Women's Memorial Foundation. As part of the ESUSA mission we further support our program participants through referrals and references to collaborating resource agencies to aid them in making informed choices to achieve their goals and improve the quality of their lives.
